Rep. Ben Smaltz Betrays Unborn Babies

Dear Friend of Life,

Today was the last day to receive a hearing on Indiana’s abortion ban, HB 1430.

Despite the flood of phone calls and emails asking for a vote on Rep. Curt Nisly’s Protection at Conception bill, Rep. Ben Smaltz refused to hear it.

Under the direction of House Speaker Brian Bosma, Smaltz denied Hoosier babies protection of life yet again, successfully following through with a plot to kill the strongest piece of life legislation ever filed in Indiana.

Smaltz insists abortion is a constitutional right, and he has been clear he will do nothing to completely end the horrific practice of legalized child killing.

Although he campaigned as “pro-life,” Ben Smaltz has proven himself to be hostile to the unborn, betraying his pre-born neighbors and pro-life voters for the third year in a row.

(Take a look at this graphic below from a previous year. Planned Parenthood thanked Smaltz for killing the Protection at Conception bill.)

Furthermore, the Roe Tolerance Lobby continues to advocate against HB 1430 and its supporters who believe all children, even those younger than 24 weeks, deserve protection at conception.

Sadly, thousands of babies will die in Indiana before the Protection at Conception bill can be introduced again next year.

My friend, our “pro-life” legislators are not representing us well. Instead of taking a stand against abortion, they are caving to Planned Parenthood’s demands, declaring abortion to be a constitutional right, and telling us what types of child killing we need to settle for.

It is time now more than ever to spread the word to every corner of the Hoosier state how our “pro-life” politicians have let us down and turned against unborn babies.

That’s why I hope you’ll chip in $10 or $5 to help us expose politicians who make pro-life promises they do not intend to keep.

Rep. Ben Smaltz has doomed thousands of babies to death by abortion for 2019, but I will not give up. Every child is worth fighting for, and I hope to build an even stronger army to fight for the pre-born.

There are a lot of folks out there who simply do not know what Indiana legislators are up to. It costs us $1 to reach one person. So, please, whatever amount you’re able to give, whether it’s a large donation of $50 or more, or if it’s just chipping in $5, it will help us educate pro-life folks on their elected officials’ bad behavior.

Does your Representative stand with Rep. Ben Smaltz against the unborn? If so, comment below or contact us and let us know what they’ve been saying to you.

Also, make sure you’ve signed your Protection of Life Petition. Then, send it along to your friends.

Unborn babies have a God given right to live, and I will not stop putting pressure on Indiana lawmakers to do their jobs and protect them at conception. Smaltz might’ve killed the bill—again—but, I’m not willing to settle for the crumbs Indiana politicians are throwing at us. And I know you aren’t either.

Thank you for standing with me against the horror of abortion.

P.S. Rep. Ben Smaltz and House Speaker Brian Bosma carried out their plot to kill HB 1430, the Protection at Conception bill, for the third year in a row.

This is a devastating news for the nearly 8,000 Hoosier babies who will die at the hand of Indiana abortionists in 2019.

While Smaltz and Bosma hope you and I will give up fighting for the rights of the pre-born, their defiance of pro-life voters and betrayal of unborn babies makes me want to fight even harder to protect every child at the moment of conception.

That’s why I hope you’ll consider giving $25 or as generously as you can to help me reach even more people with news on their elected officials’ behavior. Every pro-life voter should know the truth about where their legislator stands on LIFE.

It costs us $1 to reach one person, so even if you can only chip in $10 or $5 right now, every little bit adds up.

Make sure you’ve signed your Protection of Life Petition, and send it on to your friends who will sign.
