Dear Friend,
Last week, I asked you to sign a petition urging Governor Holcomb to enforce his own “Stay at Home” order and close down child killing centers in Indiana.
And, thanks to pressure from pro-lifers like you, Holcomb issued Executive Order 20-13, instructing all Indiana abortion clinics to halt procedures in order to save personal protective equipment (PPE) for the Covid-19 pandemic.
I wish I could say this means Planned Parenthood is closing its doors.
But, it doesn’t.
In yesterday’s executive order, Governor Holcomb left plenty of loopholes for abortionists to keep murdering babies.
The order states abortion clinics are to “cancel or postpone elective and non-urgent surgical or invasive procedures,” defining elective and non-urgent procedures as “any surgery or invasive procedure which can be delayed without undue risk to the current or future health of the patient as determined by the patient’s treating physician…”
In other words, if the abortion doctor, who makes money killing unborn babies, says the abortion is necessary, then he can kill the baby.
It appears as if Holcomb is attempting to appease both pro-lifers AND Planned Parenthood.
He hopes you and I will be satisfied with the order to stop aborting babies, even though the clinics don’t really have to.
But, Executive Order 20-13 is not good enough. Planned Parenthood and other abortuaries need to close down immediately, with no loopholes for continuing operations.
Vacuuming babies from their mothers’ wombs has never been an “essential” business.
And I’m not about to settle for a do-nothing order which allows abortion doctors to keep killing kids.
I’m so thankful for your petition signatures, phone calls, and emails to the governor. You have nudged him to act, but we must not stop now.
Governor Holcomb and the rest of the General Assembly needs to know we will not settle for anything less than completely shutting down abortion clinics across the state.
Make your voice heard today. Call Governor Holcomb again at 317-232-4567 and insist he force Planned Parenthood to close, with no loopholes. Then, make sure you’ve signed your petition.
After that, forward your petition to three of your friends who will sign, too.
I also hope you’ll consider pitching in $10 or $5 to help me reach more pro-lifers across the state. The more people we can reach, the louder our voices can be for the unborn!
