Sanctuary For Unborn movement underway in Indiana
INDIANAPOLIS- Sanctuary for the unborn is full steam ahead in Indiana as residents are marking their communities as abortion free zones. Following the idea from a Texas group, Hoosiers for Life is duplicating efforts here in the Hoosier state.
“Child killing should be illegal, but our Indiana state legislators have so far refused to protect our pre-born neighbors. Smaller communities are stepping up to stop abortion providers from setting up in their towns. Ultimately, what we are saying is you can't kill kids here,” states Brooke Guerrero, Communications Director of the anti-abortion organization.
Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky has partnered recently with outside states accumulating millions in funding in hopes to set up new abortion facilities in Indiana. After their celebration of access to abortions through Whole Women’s Health of South Bend, they are on the move to acquire more access to this awful practice.
“We are taking precautionary measures to make sure there are fewer places for them to embark upon as we see residents statewide saying no to PP and abortion minded practices,” says Guerrero.
Hoosiers for Life is also the promoter of the Protection of Life bill, a bill to end abortion in Indiana. It will be filed in the House by Rep. Curt Nisly this year as it continues to garner the support of thousands throughout the state. Back by popular demand, the bill will begin a conversation at the Statehouse, allowing elected officials to vote whether or not they support ending baby murder within the state.
“Our main agenda is to protect innocent human life from conception to natural death. Everything we do is directed towards that goal. If that means we knock on every door in Indiana to have a voice against abortion, that’s what we will do,” states Executive Director of Hoosiers for Life, Amy Schlichter.
