New Adoption Resource Cuts Costs 90%

Dear Friend,

I hear them call out, “We are here for you and your baby! Please let us help you!”

Volunteers with Madalyn’s Hope stand on the sidewalk outside of an abortion clinic in Merrillville, offering hope and help to abortion minded women.

The group assists with baby supplies such as diapers, wipes, and clothing, as well as equipment like bassinets and car seats. They also have post abortive women on standby to counsel the moms.

Child killing centers are the last lines of the abortion battle, and until all babies are protected by law, we need to be there to rescue those children appointed to death.

That’s why I’m thankful to partner with Madalyn’s Hope, a group dedicated to making a difference in the lives of moms and babies.

While I’d love for every mom to be able to parent her child, sometimes it isn’t possible, and so we explore the option of adoption.

Adoption can be an expensive process, but it doesn’t have to be. Most people don’t know only two things are needed to adopt in Indiana. First, a home study must be conducted, and secondly, a lawyer is needed to help with paperwork and court proceedings.

Adoption agencies base their charges on the age, gender, and race of the child and can charge families tens of thousands of dollars to connect them with birth mothers.

I wanted to help adoptive families put their money where it matters most—into the care of their child!

And so, Hoosiers for Life and Madalyn’s Hope linked arms to form Indiana Families in Waiting, a Facebook page that helps connect birth moms with families ready to adopt—for free. With our connections, adoption costs are lowered by about 90%. Families are promoted on the page, and with the help of social media, we are able to get the word out about their desire to adopt. Our hope is someone who is looking for a family will see.

I’m excited to announce a match has been made!

Back in January, Jason and Shauna Figert, along with their son Cooper, were featured on the Indiana Families in Waiting Facebook page. They were contacted through the page, and in October, little Cash Jasper will be a welcomed addition to their sweet family.

Madalyn’s Hope and I were honored to attend a baby shower for Cash recently, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to help his birth mother and his adoptive parents find each other.

If you are looking to adopt and are home study ready, please contact the Indiana Families in Waiting page HERE.

And we’re always looking for more volunteers to help with our work at Hoosiers for Life. We have outreach opportunities at abortion mills around the state and would love to help get you involved.

For LIFE,

P.S. Hoosiers for Life and Madalyn’s Hope have partnered together to form Indiana Families in Waiting, a Facebook page that connects birth moms and adoptive families for free. We have made our first match! Baby Cash is expected to arrive in October! I’m thrilled for this family and so thankful Cash’s birth mother chose life!

One way you can help Hoosiers for Life continue helping families like Cash’s is to attend our Fall Banquet. We will enjoy dinner and dessert, along with an inspiring message from Rebecca Kiessling, international pro-life speaker from savethe1.com. I’m looking forward to welcoming Rebecca to Indiana and hope to fill the house for her. Please buy your ticket ($40) or sponsor a table of eight ($250) today!

Paid for by the supporters of Hoosiers for Life, a tax exempt non-profit organization under IRC 501(c)(4) which does not endorse, support, or oppose candidates for election.
