Ben Smaltz Earns Primary Challenger

BREAKING:  Ben Smaltz Earns Primary Challenger

For the second year in a row, Rep. Ben Smaltz of Auburn killed a bill that would have ended abortion in Indiana, costing nearly 8,000 pre-born Hoosier babies their lives this year alone.

His decision to side with Planned Parenthood in keeping abortion safe has caused people to sit up and take notice of his activities.

Ben Smaltz has a challenger in the Republican primary election.

William Carlin of Garrett has filed to run for state Representative in district 52.

Ben Smaltz earning a primary challenger tells me something.  Pro-lifers all over the state of Indiana are paying attention.  Too many “pro-life” Republicans are fighting to keep abortion safe and legal, and values voters are taking notice of pro-aborts in pro-life clothing in the Indiana Statehouse.

Part of the reason people are taking a closer look at so called “pro-life” politicians is because of your hard work in demanding an end to abortion in Indiana.  We must keep fighting until all babies are protected at the moment of conception!

There are a couple of ways you can continue to help.  First, it’s not too late to sign your petition letting Indiana leadership know all unborn babies should be protected at conception.  After all, our legislators need reminded all year (not just during the legislative session) of their duty to protect the unborn.

After that, please forward the petition to your pro-life friends so they can sign, too.

You could also chip in $10 or $15 to help us share our message with even more people who want to end abortion in Indiana.

The 2018 legislative session is winding down, but primary election season is already proving to be directly connected.  The ballot closes on February 9th, so there is still time for legislators who failed to protect unborn babies this year to be facing challengers.  Several members of the House Public Policy Committee already are.   I am sending out a survey to all candidates to see who stands for life.  You can be sure I'll report their answers.

For LIFE,

Amy Schlichter
