WHAT IS THE PROTECTION

OF LIFE

BILL?

Indiana Code already notes, “That human physical life begins when a human ovum is fertilized by a human sperm.”  IC 16-34-2-1.1

Despite this, preborn babies continue to be slaughtered in the womb at an estimated rate of 22 per day throughout the year in Indiana.

What Indiana needs to do is protect the preborn life that the Indiana Code has already acknowledged exists.  The objective is to save preborn Hoosier babies from dismemberment and death.

The solution is the Protection at Conception bill, which treats the unborn like any other living individual.

Simply stated, an abortion in Indiana would be treated like any other intentional death.

Law enforcement would investigate the failure to comply with law and review the evidence of each individual event, deciding with his/her best discretion.

The prosecutor with jurisdiction would then file any charges deemed appropriate for the intentional death.
